Tarff is delighted to announce the opening of a new flagship Town and Country store in the West of the region at Castle Kennedy. Conveniently located next to the Inch filling station on the A75, the shop will offer an expanded range of products and services for both farmers and the rural community within the Stranraer and Wigtownshire area.  The new shop is going to have three distinct areas. The main shop will sell the usual agricultural sundries, clothing, footwear and include a giftware section. The rear warehouse will store bagged feed and bulkier items and a dedicated equestrian department is being set up. The existing Castle Kennedy site at the New Luce Industrial Estate will remain, continuing to blend feed and act as a storage unit for larger goods. Customers will still be able to contact the Castle Kennedy feed depot and purchase/collect items from there.

As a result of this expansion and the close proximity to Glenluce, Tarff has reluctantly taken the decision to close its Glenluce premises. Tarff has been in the Glenluce depot for over 30 years, during which time it has served the local community well. The depot will close on Friday 28th October 2022.

Tarff is committed to recognising the needs of its members and customers and to supporting the agricultural sector and rural community in difficult economic times. Being given the opportunity to increase the company’s presence in the west of the trading region is a very exciting development and Tarff is delighted to have the opportunity to offer a greater choice and service to the local community.

Tarff Town and Country, Castle Kennedy opens on Monday 31st October. The shop will be open 7 days a week, operating from 8am – 5.30pm on Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sundays.
