Wishing Grant Hurcomb and his team the best of luck in Shear Endurance! Two years ago, Grant took on a 24 hour shear and has decided to push himself even harder and shear for 50 hours starting tonight (6th July) at High Balyett Farm (DG9 8QP), 7pm and finishing at 9pm on Saturday night (8th July).

On Friday throughout the day, there will be kid’s entertainment, a baking stall, raffle tickets on sale with some fabulous prizes to be won and the band, Life O’ Reilly, will be playing at night. Great Grub are the event caterers for both days and the bar opens at 11am.

With a similar set up to Friday, Saturday will also include dog trials, live local singers and a barn dance in the evening. For those who are interested, the dance will be £5 entry and you can get your wristband on the door.

All of this is in aid of two amazing charities – Cancer Research UK and Motor Neurone Disease Scotland. Please help and show your support by donating or why not pop along to see the action?!

Good luck to all those involved from the Tarff Team.
