What a fantastic few days the team had at the Royal Highland Show! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Scottish Machinery Rings Association stand. It was great to catch up with members, meet new faces and share what we’ve been working on.
A special thanks to Robert Wallace and Scott Cunningham for taking the stage on Thursday for the ‘Planting Seeds for Tomorrow – Spotlight on Pre-Apprenticeships’ presentation. We were also pleased to be joined by guest speaker Jim Fairlie, Minister for Connectivity and Agriculture in Scotland.
On Friday, our thanks go to Graeme Hodgson of GPE training for delivering an insightful talk on chainsaw operation and ATV safety 🪵
Saturday brought a practical and engaging First Aid demonstration courtesy of F1 Training.
Rounding things off on Sunday, we were delighted to welcome Ben Best from Dalscone Farm to draw the winner of the ATV Prize Draw Competition with funds over the cost of the quad going to RSABI and Farmstrong Scotland. Total to be revealed soon!
