Last week was a busy one for Tracey McEwan (Services Coordinator) and Katie Sproat (Marketing) as they interviewed the Pre-Apprenticeship applicants for the 2020 programme!
Joining the interview panel to help provide a perspective from a farmers point of view was Andrew Marchant, Tarff Board Member, and Andrew Jamieson, member of Tarff and previous mentor to a Pre-Apprentice last year. It was great to have them both on board and we thank them for sparing some time to help out in the interview process.
This year, the interviews were held over Zoom due to the current COVID-19 circumstances. All the applicants did very well in coping with this technology and it was surprising how there were so few technical hitches!
