On Monday 12th July, Tarff Services held the 2021 Pre-Apprenticeship Programme launch at Tarff Town and Country. This year, there are 18 spaces, with 10 students starting now and a further 8 in January.
Our students start the programme with a three week induction where they will be taught manual handling, health and safety, first aid and undertake a tractor skills training course. They will also complete their Certificate of Work Readiness. After this, they will go onto their placement farms for 6 months.
This is the third year the programme has run and it has been a great success! We wish all our students, who started the programme today, the best of luck!
