Tarff Valley was delighted to attend the Lantra Scotland ALBAS awards evening on Thursday 7th March at Crieff Hydro Hotel. The event recognises and celebrates the achievements of those working and learning in the Land Based and Aquaculture sectors.
Up for the award of ‘Agriculture Learner of the Year’ was Scott Cunningham, who undertook his Pre-Apprenticeship and Modern Apprenticeship at Craigley Farm, Castle Douglas. Scott undertook both apprenticeships through Tarff Services, the Machinery Ring division of Tarff Valley. Tarff Valley member, Robert Wallace of Craigley Farms was also nominated for ‘Mentor of the Year’.
It was a very successful evening for both Scott and Robert. Scott was the winner of ‘Agriculture Learner of the Year’ and Robert took home ‘Mentor of the Year’. This is a great achievement for Robert and Scott and Tarff Valley is delighted to have been able to support both of them.
