Faecal Egg Counting Service
Avoid treating your animals unnecessarily by carrying out faecal egg counts. By understanding what your animals require, this reduces the risk of building anthelmintic resistance on your farm. This is an important step to take to become more sustainable and efficient in your animal health practices. Speak to a Registered Animal Medicines Advisor at Tarff Valley to discuss your worming strategy and our in-house faecal egg count service.

Preparing for Sustainable Farming Scheme
Did you know? As part of the Scottish Government’s ‘Preparing for Sustainable Farming Scheme’ (PFSFS), farmers can claim for undertaking up to two animal health interventions per year. Each intervention would receive a standard payment of £250, for which the control of roundworms in cattle and/or sheep qualify. This includes a wormer efficacy test.
