🌟PRE-APPRENTICE CLASS OF 2019 🌟

In June 2019, our Pre-Apprentices started the Pre-Apprenticeship programme at SRUC Barony Campus where they learnt about health & safety, manual handling, first aid, tractor driving and telehandler operation. After the three weeks training, the students went onto farms in their local areas and were mentored throughout the six-month work placement.

The Pre-Apprentices have now completed their Land Based Pre-Apprenticeship qualification and will be awarded a SCQF Level 4 at the upcoming graduation ceremony in February.

On Monday (6th January) the six students started their Level 2 Modern Apprenticeship qualification at the Barony and will be overseen by John Flanagan (pictured).

Well done to all our students and good luck with this exciting new chapter!
