Tarff Services offers its members a number of benefits including cheaper fuel and rebate schemes. Members of Tarff Valley are automatically entitled to use Tarff Services.
Since the launch of Tarff ‘Services’ in November 2019, the short courses which have been held on local farms include hoof trimming, telehandler operation, ATV training and first aid. These have all been very well received with excellent feedback. Tarff can now offer its customers industry leading training courses with the support of skilled instructors and assessors. LANTRA is one of the UK’s leading awarding bodies and Tarff is delighted to have LANTRA accreditation backing its service.

Tracey joined Tarff in May 2019 as Services Co-ordinator. Tracey oversees the Pre-Apprenticeship programme and will be working with farmers to develop training plans to continually improve professional development on farm and ensure farmers are up to date with current regulations to remain compliant i.e health and safety documents, first aid training. Peter has been with Tarff since June 2015 and started on reception. Peter’s role began to change when Jayne Ward (former South West Machinery Ring administrator) announced her intention to move back home to the North East.
