Tarff Valley offers a comprehensive animal medicine section operated by our members of staff who are all qualified animal health advisors. They have achieved R-SQP ('Suitably Qualified Person') status with the national Animal Medicines Training Regulatory Authority and can prescribe all POM-VPS medicines for companion animals through to farm animals.

Our products for worming horses, poultry (Verm-X) and dogs and cats are always in demand. Internal wormers for dogs and cats include Panacur and Drontal. Drontal has, of course, helped to highlight the benefits of regular worming to a wide audience through their "absolutely not" advertising campaign. The product is effective in killing every type of intestinal worm commonly found in dogs and cats in the UK.
For external parasites, we stock Frontline Spot On for both dogs and cats. This is the best-selling 'spot on' solution for the treatment of, and protection from, tick and flea infestation on dogs and puppies, and flea infestation and biting lice on cats and kittens.
